Yesterday was the official opening of the new Lumpinee stadium in the Bang Khen area of Bangkok. There was a huge line up to commemorate this event with matches such as Singdam vs Pakorn, Saenchai vs Nong-O and Yodwicha vs Petchboonchu.
In a bid to Try and boost the popularity of Muay Thai in its home country they also held a four man King Fighters Tournament. In contrast to the Thai Fight recipe of Thais destroying inexperienced westerners they chose instead to showcase their best against each other.
There will be five tournaments in total with the winners of the first four going in to the final to compete for the one million Baht prize.
