America has had a bad rep for Muay Thai for a long time now but to be honest the U.K had a similar reputation in the 90’s. Now it is regarded as one of the top nations for Muay Thai outside of Thailand.
The three mentioned above are the elite in the states and are paving the way forward for the rest of the country to improve themselves on the world stage.
I was actually scheduled to fight Romie last year but he had to pull out of the contest due to injury. I’m hoping another date can be arranged for later on in the year as I’m sure it will be a very entertaining fight.
Some good points made there, I agree totally about the ‘UFC’ reference where everyone who’s had 2 thai classes is a Muay Thai specialist with great style… PAH. Not sure about some of it, and the references to “American Muay Thai”. Give em a couple more years the Americans will be claiming they invented the sport. World series anyone? I do hope a fight with You and Romie comes off!!!!!!!!
Mr trainor. Thank you for posting the video. I am grateful to people like you that understand promoting thai boxing is important for the entire sport no matter what the country. Hopefully we can’t get that USA vs uk going and I can feature you on inside the fight.

I’ve really enjoyed the episodes so far and like yourself I want to try to promote the sport as well as educate people about it.
I’m looking forward to the Kevin Ross episode as he seems to have similar views to myself on the sport. So I’m interested in what he has to say.
That would be great if a USA v UK show was able to be sorted out. I’m sure there could be some amazing fights to come from it.
