Saenchai and Sagetdao will once again step through the ropes of Lumpinee stadium in this lightweight match up.

It is not unheard of in Thailand for fighters to be rematched a ridiculous amount of times as these two are proving with their fifth encounter.

Saenchai is not only regarded as the pound for pound best fighter in his generation but has often had to give weight away just so he is able to get fights. He was a four weight Lumpinee champion and has won the WPMF world title along with the WBC interim world title.

Sagetdao has won titles in both Lumpinee and Rajadamnern in two different weight classes as well out pointing Saenchai on two occasions. He has beaten some top names such as Anuwat, Nong-O and Jomthong to name just a few.

The first fight saw Saenchai actually taking on two Lumpinee champions in one night. He fought Petchboonchu FA Group for the first three rounds and then finally Sagetdao in the final two. In the end the decision went to Saenchai.

The second saw a straight fight between these two and again Saenchai’s experience and skill prevailed over the young fighter to claim his second points decision.

Sagetdao was triumphant in their third outing having a couple of big rounds to secure him the win.

The fourth fight wasn’t so long ago and again Sagetdao took this on points, looking the stronger of the two.

This fight is set to take place on 9th March 2012 in Lumpinee stadium and will be the decider on who has bragging rights. I’m sure there won’t be another rematch as I feel Saenchai is nearing the end of his career in Thailand but never the less is still a force to be reckoned with.
